The Modesto Teachers Association (MTA) is an advocate for educators representing over 1,700 certificated members. Members include classroom teachers, Beginning Teacher Support and Assessment (BTSA) mentors, Peer Assistance and Review (PAR) consultants, child development professionals, counselors, special education personnel, and certificated employees of Modesto City Schools (MCS).
